There was also probably kings who ruled regions of Egypt before recorded history, and in fact, several ancient historians record legendary Pharaohs who became Egyptian gods.

The pharaoh's mostly had different names, but there were a couple of repeats.

some names are:

pseunnes

Tutankhamen

rammesses

amenhotep

pepi

hatshepsut

akhenaten

khufu

etc.

The pharaohs all had a couple of names eg. birth names, throne names.

eg. Tutankhamun's bith name: Tutankhamun Heqaiunushema (living image of Amun, ruler of Heliopolis in Upper Egypt)

eg. Tutankhamun's throne name :Nebkheperure (lord of manifestations is Ra)

He changed his name from -Aten to -Amun in the early years of his reign. This was to show the people that he was changing the religion back from Aten to Amun.
