Mainly from late 1941 on, though a few were sent to camps earlier. (The Nazi regime did not develop mass gassing facilites till late in 1941).

All ages of people were sent to Auschwitz. From infants to the elderly. Auschwitz was the killing machine of the Nazi Party.
