What were the names of all the children of Adam and Eve?
There were apparently many - male and female - but the Scripture only mentions 3: Cain, Abel, and Seth.
Only three names are mentioned in the bible all boys. They were Cain, Abel and Seth.
Billions and billions. We are all the children of Adam and Eve.
Adam resembled the Hebrew word for dust or earth (adamah) that he was made out of and Adam named Eve Eve because Eve resembles the word for living, and she was the mother of all living. For the record, God did not name her Eve, Adam did.
There is no record that Adam had other wives other than Eve. Her very names signifies "mother of all living". Indeed, Eve is a joint-participant with Adam in all his ministry, and will inherit jointly with him all the blessings appertaining to his high state of exalatation.
Cain, Abel and Seth are the only three names we have. But it's clearly not all the children she had - " And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters" Gen 5:4 Given their lifespan, I think it's safe to assume that Adam and Eve had hundreds more. And in a way we are all their children.
As Adam and Eve were the only living people there they gave the names to the animals.
No, their children were all born after the fall. All mankind is under the curse of God.
he had many sons and daughters one of them was Qinan (Arabic) Kenan (English) who we all came from. if u want to know more just ask on wiki answers. write sons of Adam and eve and i may answer it.:)
peope may disagree with me, but we are all Adam and eve's children.
No. All races are descendants of Adam and Eve. We are all God's children.
We suspect that if you have read Genesis at all, you didn't get past page 3. After the suspense and intrigue of Cain and Abel, Genesis goes on to describe Adam and Eve as having parented many more sons and daughters. After that, the lineage of several succeeding generations is listed in detail, complete with names that tie each generation all the way back to Adam and Eve.
Yes, according to the Bible all of us are their children.
There are actually three names of Adam and Eve's sons given in the book of Genesis: Cain, Abel and Seth, but that does not mean those were the only children they had, In Genesis 5:4,5 we read: "And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died." Given the… Read More
Adam and Eve were the first humans, according to the Jewish, Islamic, and Christian religions, and all humans have descended from them. As stated inthe Bible, Adam and Eve were created by God to take care of His creation, to populate the earth, and to have a relationship with Him. Their very names are indicative of their roles. Adam comes from the Hebrew adomah, meaning "man." Eve is from the Hebrew for "life." The complete biblical… Read More
The Bible does not say. But for sure, they did not have children in the Garden of Eden. All children were conceived and born, outside the Garden.
Adam, Eve, God, Satan, and more, are all talked about in Genisis. I hope this helped! :)
Answer: If the Bible listed every person and relation to each other we would never be able to read all of it. It is hard enough to read the Bible through with all of the information that is contained in it already. The names of many of Adam and Eve's children are not mentioned, only Cain, Able, and Seth because they had a direct effect on the lineage of Noah.
The Bible only names 3 sons - Cain, Abel and Seth. But he had many other children: Genesis 5:4New International Version (NIV) 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
He's already done that. By sending His Son to be the complete and final substitutionary sacrifice for all sin, Adam and Eve were then forgiven and now enjoy Heaven like all the Old Testament righteous and all the children of God through Christ after his resurrection.
Yes, all Christians whether Catholic or not believe in Adam & Eve.
Adam and Eve had babies like we have them now. There is no other way
A: If the story of Adam and Eve is literally true, then we are all descendants of Adam and Eve - all members of their family bloodline. A scientist would probably be mildly amused at someone who actually believes this.
No not at all first God created Adam and then Eve, we are not sure after how long God made Eve.
Jesus once said that yes we were all brother and sister, but it is ok for them to be married, as long as they are not direct family meaning they have the same blood. also, think of this. if you believe in Adam and Eve, then you know they had children who had children, who had children who had children, who had children and so on.
Yes Adam named all the animals and as soon as Eve came she talked to Adam.
Answer Depending on whether you want a scientific or faith-based answer: We are not related to Adam and Eve because they are mythical. They did not really exist. We are all related to Adam and Eve by descent.
Adam and Eve were allowed to eat all fruits and vegetables from the garden of Eden.
Depending on your meaning of the question, when was man first created, or when was the first child born? I will answer both. Adam was the first human being to ever exist. He was created by God, but he was an adult. Then God put Adam into a deep sleep, and took it out one of his ribs, and made a woman, named Eve. Eventually, they had children, their first born was Cain, then they… Read More
Because Eve ate the apple from the tree that god told them not to then Eve told Adam to eat it and that's all.
Adam and Eve separated themselves from God's perfect world, and brought about physical suffering and pain to Adam and Eve and all people that followed them.
someone once said to me that in the bible when it said that God created Adam an Eve that "Adam" represented all men and that "Eve" represented all women. But i dont know and i could care less.
You need to realize that Adam and Eve is a fairy story-there was never an Adam and Eve. Its just a nice creation story and nothing else. I doubt if Adam ever realized that Eve was ever made from his rib. This is but figurative, meaning that Eve was to stand at Adams side in all things. Eve was created in the same way as Adam was, from the elements that were already in existence.
No,if you believe in god this is it. Adam and Eve made children which had children who had children ect. Some of those people would of been the King/Queen of Countries. So we were all made by Mums and Dads!
Adam and eve gave all the creatures the fruits that were in the garden. i am not sure about this answer i am assuming, so you might have to check the bible for that answer
There was no Adam and Eve. Man is the result of millions of years of evolution. == ==
no, Adam and eve did not get on earth at the same time.... Adam came first and named all the animals then God saw that Adam was lonley and put eve in the garden with him, eve was made from the rib of Adam... its in the book of genesis chapter 2 or 3...
Everyone on earth is a living relative of Adam and Eve because they were the first man and woman. We are all direct descendants of Adam and Eve.
A strictly religious answer would be that all people are descendants of Adam and Eve. A scientific answer, accepted by most Christians in the world today, is that Adam and Eve never really existed. We are all descended from humans who evolved hundreds of thousands of years ago.
God threw them out of the garden of Eden for punishment since they broke his ONLY commandment for them...ever since then mankind has been imperfect. And if Eve and Adam didn't ate the apple we all living in Nature.. God forgive Eve and Adam and Adam,Eve is in heaven
With "Adam and Eve"
Adam and eve were reunited on earth where all the humanity began
Adam and Eve are noted by Judaism, Christianity and Islam as having been the first human beings. Although the Bible tells us that they had children, it is not mentioned precisely how many - though we do know that they produced Cain, Abel and Seth. Genesis 5:4 says that: "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Josephus, the 1st century Jewish historian wrote that Adam and Eve had… Read More
Genesis 3:20 - And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. [NKJV] Eve means "life" or "living."
No, there was only one Eve, the original Eve that God created as a companion for Adam in the Garden of Eden. There was no other Eve before her, hence the term is used that Adam and Eve are the Parents of all Man kind.
God made us all. The Garden of Eden was where the first life was made, Adam and Eve. Eve was made from a rib from Adam.
Cain was one of two children of Adam and Eve. At that time, all four humans that existed on Earth were of one race (human race).
They didn't have belly buttons at all. Since they weren't born from an actual mom, they didn't have umbilical cords. So only their children did.
Answer Adam and Eve are an allegorical story from the Christian Bible. They are not actual people who existed. So all humans are not physically descended from two people, that would be impossible. In the story, Eve is the originator of sinful thought and is the one who caves to temptation, which corresponds to the way of people. Eve represents humanity in the story. Answer According to the Bible in Genesis, God created Adam and… Read More
Answer1: The number of children that Adam and Eve parented wasn't specified in the Bible. The book of Genesis identified three children by name: Cain, in 4:1; Abel, in 4:2; and Seth, in 4:25. Genesis went on to indicate that Adam fathered other 'sons and daughters' [5:4]. So a guesstimate would be at least five sons and at least two daughters in all. Answer2: The Bible (Genesis 5:4) tells us that Adam and Eve had… Read More
