Blue whale, as King Kong is a fictional character, made for the movies.
There have been two movies made about fights between King Kong and Godzilla. The first film was called King Kong vs. Godzilla and it was released in Japan in 1963. This film was also the first time King Kong and Godzilla appeared together in color and in widescreen.
No! There is no such thing as King Kong, anyway. It is a made up character from movies!
If you mean the original 1930s King Kong think of how big Fay Wray appeared when she was held in his hand . About the size a 10" Barbie doll would be in your hand . I would estimate Kong was between 40 and 60 feet tall (gorillas stand in a stooped position). Godzilla on the other hand towered above skyscrapers , and jets appeared like mosquitoes to him . I'm not going to guess his exact size , but much taller than King Kong . Now I know there was a bad B-movie sequel that showed them together the same size , but it was not faithful to the ORIGINAL movies .

There have been certain rumours to suggest that King Kong will be made in to a trilogy. Some people say that Peter Jackson is looking into making a film (( released in 1933 first)) Labelled son of Kong. It is about Kong's son fighting the Nazi's (( I know, weird right)). Will update more as it comes along.

Most of the ones written after 2000 or so have not been made into movies, including Cell, Lisey's Story, and Duma Key. A great number of his short stories have not been made into movies, either.
