The difference is that one is co-linear force is one dimensional and co-planar force is 2-dimensional. Co-linear force is the force which is acting along a single line, whereas co-planar force is the force which is acting along a single plane.

Is 3 points coplanar colinear?

3 coplanar points may or may not be collinear. 3 collinear points must be coplanar.

A triangle is a figure formed by three segments and four coplanar points?

No. A trinagle does not require four points, three are sufficient. And any three points, if they are not colinear, must be coplanar.

Do three coplanar points lie on the same line?

They lie in the same plane, but they don't necessarily have to lie on the same line. Every triangle consists of three points that are coplanar but non-colinear.

What is the definition of coplanar points?

>Two points that lie on the same plane. Any pair of points on the plane will thus >form a line. (In most basic geometry classes, the majority of the class work is >only concerned with one plane) Any number of points can be coplanar. In fact, any 3 points are always coplanar, and if they are not colinear (all three on the same line), they define a unique plane.

Is parallel force a type coplanar force?

yes

What must be true about collinear point?

They must be coplanar before they can be colinear. They lie on the same line or equivalently, they must all satisfy te same linear equation.

What is non coplanar force?

AIDS

What are various types of force system?

Coplanar Force ,collinear force &concurrent force

What is the definition of non coplanar?

Non-coplanar simply means not on the same plane (referring to points on a plane; geometry)

Are parallel lines always sometimes never coplanar?

They are ALWAYS coplanar! This is because the definition says so! You have to read it first, in order to get the answer!

Can coplanar points lie on the same line?

Yes, of course! By definition a line is a planar figure, and all the points of the line are therefore coplanar.

What is the definition of coplanar and non coplanar forces?

Coplanar forces are a set of forces all of which act in the same plane. Non-coplanar forces are a set of forces in which at least one act in a direction incline to the plane formed by two of the forces.
