A series is a special case of a sequence where the n'th term is the sum of n numbers a1, a2, ..., an. In other words, it is a sequence in the form S1 = a1 S2 = a1 + a2 S3 = a1 + a2 + a3 ... Sn = a1 + a2 + ... + an
Paper comes in a variety of different sizes including 4A0, 2A0, A0 and A1 through A10. The dimensions of A2 paper are 594 by 420 mm or 23.4 by 16.5 inches.
A1 The 'A' series of paper is such that A0 is 1m2 in area and each next number up is half the previous area: A1 is 0.5m2, A2 is 0.25m2 and so on. The ratio of the sides of the paper series are such that 1 Sheet of A0 can be cut in half parallel to its shorter side to create 2 sheets of A1; each sheet of A1 can be cut in half parallel to its shorter side to create 2 sheets of A2; and so on. The sides are in the ratio of 1 : sqrt(2). A0 is approx 841mm x 1189mm, A1 is approx 595mm x 841mm, A2 is approx 420mm x 595mm, A3 is approx 297mm x 420mm, A4 is approx 210mm x 297mm, and so on.
A0 is twice the size of A1 A1 is twice the size of A2 A2 is twice the size of A3 A3 is twice the size of A4 A4 is twice the size of A5 A5 is twice the size of A6 And so on
A1 + A2 = 90 A1 = 4*A2 Substituting from the second equation into the first: 4*A2 + A2 = 90 or 5*A2 = 90 so that A2 = 18 and then, by the second equations, A1 = 4*18 = 72
The largest paper size is A1
The simplest and best way is: =A1+A2 You could also do it any of the following ways: =SUM(A1:A2) =SUM(A1,A2) =SUM(A1+A2) =SUBTOTAL(9,A1,A2)
numbers: =A1+A2 text: =A1&A2 or =A1&" "&A2
Excel formulas that will find the average of cells A1, A2, and A4 are: =AVERAGE(A1 ,A2, A4) or =AVERAGE(A1:A2, A4)
While there are many ways of doing it, the simplest way is to use the SUM function and a range in it like this: =SUM(A1:A5)
There following two options should work:=sum(A1:A3) or=A1+A2+A3
A2 is the biggest then A4 then A1
A1 size is 594 mm x 841 mm, or 23.4" x 33.1".

The only difference between vitamin A1 and A2 is of a bond in the ring.
