Doomsday is often reflected as the final conflict in many religious circles. According to Revelation 16:14-16, it is these very ideologies which will gather the nations for battle on what many consider to be a final day! However, there are 6 more chapters of religious refinement reflected in the Biblical book of Revelation.
Matthew 24:6 says "be not alarmed" these wars are but the beginning. Matthew 24:12-14 claims that following this period, the gospel of Love will be preached as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.
Doomsday may be nothing less than a refinement of religious understanding as God's true desire for reuniting Himself with mankind apart from our ways of violence and bloodshed is revealed.
Isaiah 9:5 states; "For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood will be burned as fuel for the fire. Verse 6 states; "For unto "us" a child is born, to us a son is given and his name will be called "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
John 3:17 states; "For God sent not the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him." God is not willing that any should perish, but that all might accept His Love and come into His presence. We have become our own adversaries, condemning and keeping one another from him. It is only our understandings and attempts to place our ideologies apart from Him upon the throne of God.
According to II Thessalonians 2:3-4, It is our own ideologies; we have become the son of perdition, opposing and exalting our own spiritual identities against every so-called god or object of worship of our fellowman; We have attempted to inhabit the throne of God within our fellowman instead of allowing the Spirit of God to work within them as we confess our own sin and unworthiness and share the good news of what our creator has done through His only begotten son, calling all that is His back to Him. We have attempted to accept His blessings in our lives as a blessing unto ourselves instead of allowing His blessings to be a blessing to others - especially our enemies. We have failed to communicate and have thus harbored the enmity that will lead to this so called doomsday.

∙ 13y agoNot only is there the fact that the Sun will eventually expand, I think that by the time it does, the Human Race is going to be extinct. Like I said in the Discussion page, What most likely is going to happen is Nuclear War or Over-Population.
