In the future, erosion landforms will continue to evolve as they are shaped by natural processes like wind, water, and ice. Climate change may also impact erosion rates and patterns, leading to accelerated erosion in some areas. It is important to monitor and manage erosion to mitigate its impacts on landscapes and human communities.

How is Tybee island landforms changing?

Tybee Island's landforms are primarily influenced by natural processes such as erosion and sea level rise. The island's shorelines may experience changes due to erosion and sediment deposition. Human activities, such as development and beach nourishment projects, can also impact the island's landforms. Regular monitoring and adaptive management practices are essential to understand and address these changes effectively.

What are the highest types of landforms on continents?

The highest types of landforms on continents are mountains and plateaus. Mountains are elevated landforms with steep slopes and high peaks, while plateaus are elevated flat areas of land with steep sides. Both types of landforms are formed through geological processes like tectonic activity and erosion.

What are mains landforms?
