-There would be no honey(no bees)

-The food chain would collapse(some animals eat insects)

-We could not breathe(no trees)

-There would be no flowers or trees(no pollination)

-We would have no meat(the animals who eat insects would die, thus creating a tragic cycle in which even the carnivores would eventually die. It's complicated)

-Other animals would die(food chain again)

I don't like insects much, but at least they keep us alive.

Insects are a huge part of ecologies all over the Earth. They eat many things, and are eaten by many other species. They are thus part of many food chains. Many species of birds depend upon insects as food. Insects (bees in particular) also play an important role in pollinating plants. There are so many different species of insects, with so many different ecological roles, that it would be impossible to know how profound the effect would be, if all insects were to be eradicated, but the disruption of biological systems would be stupendous. There are, of course, certain species of insects that we would really like to get rid of. Some are very destructive. We certainly would not want to get rid of every species of insect.

What would the forest be like without fungi?

There would be no food for any of the bugs, because most bugs eat the fungi in the forests. There would be more bugs than there are right now, because certain types of fungi are what kill the bugs. Also it would be to overpopulated even with the trees because fungi is able to kill the trees in the balance of nature.

How do spiders help us?

Spiders kill many small insects. If there were no spiders, the number of these insect verities would go unchecked and the ecosystem would fail. The plant eating bugs would eat all of the plants, and bugs like the mosquito would be in much greater numbers. Spiders are pretty important. But most creatures have an important role to fulfill.
