Left would be driver side.
Up and to the left of the clutch on the firewall.
The 1998 Chevy Silverado pickup truck shift solenoid can be found on the left-hand side of the engine. The shift solenoid will be near the center of the transmission.
Under dash, left side.
Left side of the dash.
Need to check left and right front wheel bearings.
Behind Glove Box Left Side Close To stero
the sensor itself is on the bottom of the timing chain cover on the left.

lefty losey....righty tighty (so turn it left)
To the left of the ash tray, near the heater controls, under the dashboard.
On the older ones it's under the dash, above the brake pedal and a little to the left

Unfortunally you can't replace just the cables. They come with the latch assembly and there is a left and right.
bad rack and pinion assembly I believe the Chevy Z71 Pickup has a recirculating ball gear box instead of rack and pinion. However, the cause of the problem is still most likely in the gear box.

The flasher relays are in the back of the glove box the fuses are on the left side of the dash and can only be accessed if the driver's door is open
Damaged frame and control arms...might be a costly fix, but it can be done.

Standing in the front of the engine, it will be on the left bottom side of the engine block up towards the front.
If your standing at the front of the engine it should be in the back left, if it is a stick shift you wont have a a dip stick.
That would be the drivers side frame rail under the truck.
It's in on the left side of the transmission, to the rear near where the driveshaft enters - has a 2-wire plug coming out of it.
All V8 engines have the same firing order. 1,3,5,7 is the left bank, 2,4,6,8 is the right bank and the distributor rotates clockwise. 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2
