The Mossberg 500 Stock is the stock for the Mossberg 500 shotgun. The stock would allow you to get a better grip on the shotgun and absorb some recoil from firing the shotgun.
Mossberg 500 is a series of shotguns manufactured by O.F. Mossberg & Sons. The 500 series comprises widely varying models of hammerless, pump action repeaters, all of which share the same basic receiver and action, but differ in bore size, barrel length, choke options, magazine capacity, and "furniture" (stock and forearm) materials. Model numbers included in the 500 series are the 500, 505, 510, 535, and 590.
I THINK that was is a Mossberg. The WesternField model m550ABD Is in fact a Mossberg Model 500. I am a proud owner of one, which every member of my family has hunted with. This gun will accept mossberg barrels, and retains amazing accuracy and reliability.
One was purchased new in 1974.
Revalation was a brand name of the Western Auto Hardware Company. Many guns were manufactured for Western Auto by Mossberg, Marlin, and perhaps others that had the Revalation name. They have not been sold for years now and any in stock would be used guns.
This is the same gun as a Mossberg 500. You can try a google search or go to the gun parts Co. online for a diagram of an exploded view. Mossberg should have one as well.
The Westerm Field 550 looks like a Mossberg 500, so I would start there looking for a plug. A good gun shop might have one, a gunsmith could make you one, or gunpartscorp.com may have one on the shelf.
There are a few on gunbroker, in fact there is one on there now. Mossberg originally designed the bullpup for law enforcement / security use. It found quite a few fans in the civilian market though. Mossberg desiged it, I'm not sure if it was contracted out though. They have the ability to make all of the synthetic stocks for their regular lines of shotguns. it could have been a company like ramline which is known for it's stocks and innovative concoctions.
No one Mossberg shotgun. Tell us what you have, we may be able to answer.
Follow instructions in owner's manual. If you don't have one, go to Mossberg's web site for information on how to get one.
The Mossberg 500 is one of the more popular shotguns on the market... thus, there is an abundance of aftermarket parts and accessories available for them, including buttstocks. So much so that making a complete list is very impractical. Perhaps if you narrowed down the criteria as to what type of buttstock you wanted, a better answer could be given.
Two thirds of stock.
A mosberg is a piece of crap buy a browning or a berreta first of all its Mossberg not "mosberg" and second they make good guns including the 500 Mossberg makes great guns for the price. I have never had a problem with any Mossberg. I have never shot the 500 so I wouldn't know. Personally I like Benelli Nova. It will go through anything that you can put it through and still fire a round like its brand new. It's $300 and shoots like a $1000 gun. To the original answerer, what are you talking about? The Mossberg 500 series (including the 535, 590, and others) is probably one of the two best pump shotguns ever made (the other being the Remington 870 series.) The 590 is used by the U.S. military, so that says something about how good it is. I started using a 535 two years ago, and I've killed four deer (three bucks, one doe) and two turkeys with it (sorry, not trying to brag.) While I do admit that the Browning A-5 is a great shotgun, Mossberg shotguns are by no means "crap." Benelle Value of this gun, as you asked, depends completely on condition.
