What would win in a fight - an eagle or a tiger?

The eagle will win because the eagle has talons the size of a grizzly bear's claw and there have been records that of eagles killing gorillas. If the eagle is fast enough to slash the gorilla, the gorilla cannot grab it and rip it to bits.

Actually, it depends on the age and size of the leopard and/or eagle. Whichever was bigger would probably win. They both live in the same area and fight over prey frequently so this battle pretty much happens on a day to day basis.

First of all, there is such a thing as the "fight or flight response" which all animals have. A natural instinct whether they should fight their for or run away.

An eagle's natural reaction to encountering a tiger would be flight, as in to fly away to avoid the danger. Because the eagle knows it cannot win.

If the eagle flew away, which it likely will do, the fight will end in a draw because both animals are still alive.

However if the two, for some reason, did manage to get into a fight, the tiger would win. The tiger is a stealthy, camouflaged predator with razor sharp claws and equally sharp fangs. Meanwhile the eagle is evolved for killing small creatures such as rabbits, not large creatures like tigers.
