a very big meteorite that actually left crater

The Answer above is a lie! There was no crater, and no material found of an extraterrestrial source. Basically, no one knows what you would get hit by. All we know is that you'd be destroyed by an equivalent of 2,000 nuclear bombs exploding on you. So um, if you're building a time machine, don't go to Tunguska Siberia in 1908!

How large was the Russian meteorite of 2013?

The exact size of the Chelyabinsk meteor is unknown because once it hit the earth it broke into many pieces the only measurements that were given were done through pictures taken in which scientists gave it a 2-kilometer-diameter, estimates range from 12,000 to 13,000 metric tons (yes that's right heavier than the Eiffel tower) and measuring from 17 to 20 meters. it was the largest thing to impact earth since the 1908 meteor landing in Siberia known as the Tunguska Event.
