The Conquest has a very interesting history. In the 2001 model year the Conquest was replaced by the name Tazz for the whole hatchback range of cars. Both of these cars are based on Corolla engineering.

The last year the awsome Toyota Tercel was in production was 1999......(sad face) It was replaced by the ugly Echo....blech!!
I think by the year 2000 they stopped making Supras. As in they built the 1999 suprathen stopped. (I could be wrong)

The transition to independent front suspension began with the 1996 model year for the Tacoma, marking the end of the solid front axle in their light-duty trucks.
