I thought this would be an easy one, but as it turns out this s/n appears to have been issued during the period of 1943 thru 1947 ( World War 2)and no records are available from that time period. The last s/n issued, according to my references, was 1221289 issued in 1943. The next s/n issued was 1500000 in 1948?? This sounds like just a convient number to start post war production with. If you were already aware of this and were looking for a better answer I apologize for taking your time.
