Bulimia is more commonly diagnosed as an eating disorder, but more individuals exhibit anorexic tendencies (not enough to be diagnosed as a serious problem though) such as extreme dieting, excessive weight loss, diet pills, and skipping meals.
Neither!!! Those two things are terrible for your health and body!!
Neither are better than normal health.
Anorexia tends to look better on a person and bulimia usually is less life threatening, but both are as bad.
bulimia because when starving yourself u occasionly get tempted for something little if not forced where as with bilimia u can can jus throw up your food
Bulimia has more immediate effects, but a person is more likely to die or have lifelong complications from anorexia.
Women are more likely and most people from ages 11- 19 are more common to suffer either bulimia and anorexia nervosa, but adults can suffer from these eating disorders too.
Not always. However research shows that you are a lot more likely to develop anorexia/bulimia if a family member is or was a sufferer.
Anorexia nervosa
Most of the time bulimia starts with anorexia, but then maybe they go to somewhere with a lot of food and they lose control and binge. To get rid of the calories they purge an then this becomes an addiction. Bulimia is much more common than anorexia because not all bulimics have anorexia, but most anorexics have bulimic tendencies.
It is just a shorter version of the full name. Anorexia is short for Anorexia Nervosa. Therefore, Anorexia Nervosa is commonly referred to as Anorexia. (As is Bulimia. Bulimia is short for Bulimia Nervosa.)
anorexia and bulimia
