The best weapon if you are a high level and have The Shivering Isles expansion is the sword you receive from the dead Orc at the end of the quest for Xedilian. It is significantly higher quality/durability and normal weapon damage than Umbra and somewhat more than a Daedric sword; it is equaivalent or slightly higher quality/durability and normal weapon damage than a Perfect Madness sword. It also has 40 fire damage during the day, and 40 frost damage at night, and 80 uses for each. The best part about it is when it transforms from night to day or vise versa, it recharges its magical energies, so you get 80 free charged uses every 12 hours. In addition to that, once you use it to kill 12 people or creature in a 12 hour period, the sword will recharge itself automatically, AND it will now have an absorb health attribute in addition to a more powerful fire-or-frost attribute. The only problem with this sword is that it is leveled, so all magic effects, uses, quality/durability, and normal weapon damage are relative to your own level; however, once you are level 25 or higher it is superior to all other one-handed blades (and probably all blades, the best Claymore being Shadowrend) in the game by far.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1--------------------------------------------- Added: by visceral relic There is a greater weapon, the mace of doom. This can only be acquired with the frost crag spire add on... But it's worth it. To acquire this weapon you need to go to the bedroom in frost crag spire and save the game, after doing this delete the add on from your hard drive (you can redownload) and simply load the game this will teleport you to a black nothingness However there is a random house that you need to jump towards and you will be teleported inside. After teleporting inside exit the house and you will be in a wasteland with three houses in front of you the mace is in front of you next to the fire. Oh and there is an unlimited amount of every sigil stone in the game in one of the houses too. P.s to clone objects have three or more of the same spell NON STOLEN scrolls and hold the a button on them when in the menu then WITHOUT RELEASING THE A BUTTON go to the item you want to clone and drop it. Whilst still holding A. And you can sell the stuff you clone like perhaps some certain White glowing rocks that recharge your weapons-£££££££££
Without mods (or enchanting), it is arguably Umbra.
There is only one Nightingale bow in Skyrim
Technically, no. But you can go 'Bow Fishing'. It's basically fishing with your bow. Or you can swim around and catch slaughterfish.
No, you need Auriel's Bow, and the corrupted arrows provided by Serena, to block out the sun.
It depends on how you like to play. I prefer bow myself, and argonians are quite good at both naturally.
yes it does because crossbows are especially good against vamps.
there are so many weapons on the game of skyrim with different effects and purposes but deadric weapons are the strongest of the lot even with bows the deadric arrows and bow are the best ranged combo on the game but they can only be made from scratch or if your lucky and are a high enough level you will stumble across them one one of your many inventions.
If you mean while it is in your inventory, it's probably the marker to say your character has equipped the bow but is not currently weilding it.
It is possible. not sure why you'd want a million though...you can have infinite arrows with the summoned bow.

They don't really break. Make sure you're holding the button long enough to get a full draw on the bow...
Yes.
