i would like to find out the diffences between quantative and qualitative research, please help.
In qualitative research you are looking for more sites whether they have a lot of the information you have or a little information. While do quantitative research you are looking for as much information in as few sites as possible.
Quantitative is the amount of information as qualitative is the detail.
This questions references the two primary approaches to academic methodology. Qualitative research is highly descriptive, whereas quantitative methods rely on statistics, measurements, and mathematical calculations.
It's probably similar to the difference between qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis (and research) looks at what is there, quantitative analysis (an presumably research) actually measures how much is there. Since all modern science is based on exeriment (and measurement), I'm not sure how you can do realistic qualitative research.
The comparison of a quantitative and qualitative is that they are both used in any other subject. The difference of a quantitative and qualitative is that a qualitative is that is has letters. A quantitative is that it has numbers.
The main difference between qualitative and quantitative research/observations are the purposes of the observations. Qualitative research uses a small number of cases to determine the underlying reasons and motivations of an action. Quantitative research uses a large number of cases to create a generalized result.
Qualitative refers to what a sample is, while quantitative refers to how much of that materal is present.
Quantitative is like how many of the object there are, and qualitative is its color or texture (physical stuff).
The difference is that qualitative is wade with 1 of your 5 senses and the other one which is quantitative is an observation involving numbers.
There is a very important difference between qualitative and quantitative factors. Namely, something quantitative is based on numbers and data. Something qualitative is described by it's qualities, rather than described in a numerical way.
