According to The Bible, Adam & Eve did not 'come' to earth. Adam & Eve did not exist somewhere else. They did not even exist.
They were created right here on earth from the dust of the ground. And then God breathed into their nostrils the breath of life. And then the man became a living breathing person.
Genesis 2:7: "God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."(NIV)
Before Adam & Eve were created from the elements of the ground, they simply did not exist. There was no sign of them - at all - anywhere.
When they died, they returned from whence they came. They came from 'nothingness' - they returned to 'nothingness.' They did not go elsewhere; they did not go to heaven; they did not go to 'eternal torment'. They simply ceased to exist.
Genesis 3:19: "For dust you are, and to dust you shall return."
When did this all happen? According to the chronology records within the Bible, it seems to be approx 6,000 years or so ago (plus or minus a few years).
