a phase change
exocytosis
Melting is a phase change in which a substance changes from the solid state to the liquid state. Sublimation is a phase change in which a solid moves directly into the gas phase. Both melting and sublimation are two types of physical change.
refrction
Melting is simply the reverse of freezing. The secret to it is that it takes quite a bit of heat movement to make a substance change from the freezing point. Heat moves out of substance in freezing, and heat moves into a substance to make it thaw.
It moves faster.
This change of phase is called vaporization and is a physical phenomenon; the chemical nature of the molecules was not changed.
The frequency of sound waves does not change in moving from one substance to another. Remember that vacuum is not a substance, but a lack of substance. Sound can't exist there.
Diffusion occurs when there is a concentration gradient i.e. a substance moves from higher to lower concentration.

Thermal energy that can move from one substance to another is called heat. Heat always moves from a warmer substance to a cooler one. An increase in temperature means that heat moves into a substance.
Speed occurs when a body moves with respect to some frame of reference.
"eclipse"
A shift occurs when there is a movement from one tune to another between syllables. A glide occurs when the voice moves from one tone to another midsyllable.
No work because no change in position occurs.
The speed changes. (and sometimes the angle.)
