Coyotes really don't hunt they are a bunch of scavengers. They usually don't like to hunt prey that is healthy. They tend to go after older, sick or even injured animals. That is why when we go out and hunt we use a rabbit in distress or a fawn in distress or anything that looks like it is hurt. if you do that you should always bag your limit in coyotes.

They hunt everywhere! Down in the deserts of the southwestern US, coyotes work in groups to take domestic cats and rabbits at night.
