You should start weaning baby rabbits at 6 weeks of age and all of them should be weaned by 8 weeks of age. So, there is your answer, 6 to 8 weeks of age.
They usually don't start eating pellets good until 5-6 weeks.
Rabbits might start nibbling a little hay and pellets at 4 weeks, but they need 2-4 more weeks before they're fully weaned and ready to leave their mother.
It depends on how comfortable the mother is with you. Sometimes you can do it within hours of birth without the mom getting defensive. If she doesn't want you near them, she will let you within a day or two.
3-4 months tops is when you could hold them. Try not to bother the mother. Plus keep them in a warm place but not TOO WARM.
at about 6 months old rabbits are ready to leave here mothers therefore you should start at a fairly young age at about 6 to 7 months old.
Yes you can, but no you should not. If the mother smels your scent, she may reject the baby bunny (leveret).

They never leave their mother, their mother is the queen of the colony and they stay with that colony their entire life

if it's a wild bunny you should leave it where you found it DON'T pick it up. go to a local store and buy one! if it is a baby and doesn't appear to be hurt leave it alone the mother will find it. if it's eye's are not open it couldn't have traveled far. if you can look around for the nest if you find it don't touch the baby or the mother won't take it don't try to feed if you would be doing more harm than good (you would most likely give it Darreah causing dehydration and death). Leave it alone till nightfall then if it is still there and alive you can bring it to it's nest but try not to touch it that might cause the mother to neglect the baby. if you have already touched the baby bunny then try to keep it warm you can put it into a box with mulch or wood chips or even dirt then take a night light and a pint sized gar then put a long sock over it and plug it in.
it can leave 6-8 weeks
They never leave them. They stay together until death.
The baby mouse can leave it's mother when it's about four weeks or older. At that time, the baby mouse is fully weaned of mother's milk. The baby mouse should also be eating solid foods as well.
A mother bunny visits her kits every so often, but does not always stay with them. It is in the natural habbit to stay away from them so prey does not find them as easily. If you have them in a cage, than they might be in the place that the mother sleeps, so she may spend more time with them. The normal amount of time spent with the bunnies is only enough time for feeding usually.!
