It is not possible to say exactly where Leonardo was when making this or any other sketch. The thing is: All his inventions were made in his sketchbooks, not in any sort of mechanical workshop.
leornardo da vinci got his idea from a hawk that came down and landed on his crib when he was little.
*While it is true that the youngest memory known about Leonardo was when a hawk landed on his crib and touched Leonardo's lips with his tail, it is a little bit of a jump to conclude that that is where the inspiration for the helicopter came from. Since, a hawk and a helicopter do not look alike at all.
Leonardo was fascinated with birds and really wanted to figure out how to fly. He designed a couple of flying machines, including a hand glider and a rough helicopter sketch.
As he was working on ideas to figure out how to flight, he came up with the completely original idea for a flying machine (nowadays we identify that flying machine as a helicopter) out of his own mind. In other words, he got the idea for his helicopter from his own head no outside inspiration because there wasn't anyone doing anything like it around him where he could draw any inspiration from.*
It was never actually built due to impracticalties in it's design. It could not actually lift or support lift. It was designed in the later 1400's to the early 1500's. If you need the exact year search on other sites.
Leonardo da vinci is credited with having first thought of a machine for vertical flight, the "airscrew," a helicopter looking machine, the design for which was dated 1493.
Leonardo was trying to build a flying machine. He wanted to be able to fly. Please, note that Leonardo is not credited for having invented the helicopter. He designed a pair of blades (as one of his many flying machine designs) that were similar to the helicopter blades that are used nowadays. That is the connection - Helicopters today use the same blades that Leonardo envisioned in the Renaissance. As genius as he was, he did not invent the helicopter he drew a picture and said it could fly. If this were the case a four year old child living in the 1800s could have attached wheels to a match box and be credited with the invention of the car
His assistants sold it to the King of France when Leonardo was dead, in 1519.
Clocks are much older than Leonardo. Although they are, Leonardo redesigned the clock so that it was more accurate. His redesigned clock measured minutes and hours with elaborate weights & harnesses. I'm not exactly sure the time he redesigned this however.

who invited what leonardo de caprio 1845 invented a tank like object and a helicopter why dont u google stuff goodbye
NO. Leonardo da vinci died in the year 1519. which was 500 years ago.
Leonardo did not make them, he imagined them and drew them around 1500.
It was not made in anything. All Leonardo's inventions are in his sketchbooks. None have been executed.
The first practical helicopter was invented about 1942
Igor Sikorski invented helicopter in the year 1906.
Sir Edmund pierce Jacquier first invented the single rotor helicopter in the year 1989.

The Westland Lynx is a British helicopter designed by and built Westland Helicopters at its factory in Yeovil. This fantastic helicopter made its firsh flight on the 21 March 1971 but was permanently introduce one year later.
The very first piloted helicopter was invented by Paul Cornu in 1907, however, this design was not successful. French inventor, Etienne Oehmichen built and flew a helicopter one kilometer in 1924. Another early helicopter that flew for a decent distance was the German Focke-Wulf Fw 61, invented by an unknown inventor. Igor Sikorsky is considered to be the "father" of helicopters not because he invented the first. He is called that because he invented the first successful helicopter, upon which further designs were based. One of aviation's greatest designers, Russian born Igor Sikorsky began work on helicopters as early as 1910.
