He did not
disapear he died on his birthday
Shakespeare didn't "disappear". He died on April 23, 1616 (in the Julian calendar; by the Gregorian calendar, that would be May 3, 1616).
It comes from Shakespeare. First in Othello and then in Tempest. The full phrase, Vanish into thin air, didn't start until the early 19th century. But the phrase surely started with Shakespeare.
Shakespeare's formal education ended when he was in his teens (we don't know exactly when because all of his school records have disappeared), but his education did not end then. He appears to have been an enormously observant man, who learned something about the world every day he lived.
There is record of a play being performed called Cardenio in 1613, which afterwards was recorded in the Stationer's Register as being by Shakespeare. No copy exists. There is also a play referred to in 1597 by Francis Meres called Love's Labour's Won (apparently a sequel to Love's Labour's Lost) which has likewise disappeared. These are the lost plays we know most about. But there may have been more which disappeared without any trace.
Our Disappeared was created in 2008.

Possibly The Two Noble Kinsmen, which he co-wrote with John Fletcher, and, although Shakespeare's part in it is generally acknowledged, rarely finds its way into anthologies of his work. Of course we might also count Cardenio and Love's Labour's Won, of which we have only the titles. All copies of the plays themselves have disappeared.
The Nursemaid Who Disappeared was created in 1939.
The base word for "disappeared" is "appear."

As far as we can tell, it was a quiet year for him, unlike 1608 (Blackfriars Theatre acquired by a group including Shakespeare, Pericles published), 1609 (the sonnets published) or 1613 (he retired, Globe Theatre destroyed).
