If you are asking whether Taiwan can "win over" China-- to persuade China to accept Taiwan as an independent country, that is very unlikely, since the Chinese government is firmly insistent that Taiwan must rejoin China. At this point, China has not threatened Taiwan nor is there a possibility of a war, but both countries see themselves very differently, and I doubt that will change at any time in the near future.
