It was titled "Saved From the Titanic" It starred Dorothy Gibson, an actress who was actually on board the Titanic when it sank. For dramatic effect, in the movie, she wore the actual dress that she wore the night of the sinking. In the movie, she misses the lifeboats, and is forced to stay aboard until the ship's final moments, even though in actuality she was in fact saved in a lifeboat. The only copies of the film were being housed in Germany, until a warehouse fire destroyed them all.
