The guitar solo 'Eruption', by Eddie Van Halen, was released on February 10, 1978, and features the use of two-handed tapping. The piece often appears on lists of 'greatest guitar solos'.
It's the second track on the first album titled Van Halen

Van Halen's 'Eruption' is not a single in and of itself. It is a guitar solo that leads into 'You Really Got Me', which was the band's first single. Often times on the radio 'Eruption' is not played before 'You Really Got Me'.
My new years resolution is to play Eruption by Eddie Van Halen on guitar.
