recycling started in the 1970's when it became more popular to recycle than put them in landfills.
well no one noes when the first person started but there was a group sometime in the 1800s that wanted to form a community council that would recycle any type of paper, plastic bottles, and card board.

cave man started polluting and then we decided that we need a place for our garbage so we either through it on the ground or the landfill which just buries the garbage
