i was hired to start for a new product in 1981 or 1982 not quite sure . i was about 13 and born in 1968 and made 3.15 an hour. and that was the chicken nugget ! ..... ps. the first time i ate them i puked within an hour!! ... i love em now !

I worked at McDonald's from 1981-1983. I couldn't recall if they came out in '82 or '83, so I checked their website. It was 1983.

Around the 1980's. It was a disappointment, so they were replaced by the Chicken McNuggets. Following that success, the McChicken was reintroduced.
