Neil Armstrong left for the moon on July 16th 1969
July 16th 1969
Armstrong placed it near the Apollo 11 landing point in the Sea of Tranquility. It subsequently was knocked flat by the force of the lunar module's lift-off.
It is hardly likely that drinking a soda upon the moon without special considerations given the lack of gravity and proper packaging that this would have been done .of course he did! why wouldn't he!?!?
Yes, you dumb brain who asked this question. He made it to the moon by lifting off in a space shuttle and taking a 3-day trip through space to get to the moon.
16 July The Apollo 11 Saturn V space rocket lifted off. Buzz and Neil landed on the moon in the Lunar Lander Sunday July 20, 1969 at 20:18 GMT. Monday 21st July 1969 at 02:56 GMT Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon's surface.
Neil Armstrong said "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." It was important as they were the very first words spoken on the moon and would go on record as being so. (Note) Neil Armstrong had rehearsed what he was going to say when he landed on the Moon as "One small step for a man, One giant leap for mankind" but he missed the "a" out ! He always mentions this when talking about his mission and say's he fluffed his lines.

Buzz Aldrin was also on the Moon with Neil Armstrong. Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin were with Neil Armstrong in the Command Module (the CM orbited the moon while the lunar module landed and took off from the lunar surface). Neil Armstrong did not go to the moon by himself.
He took off from Cape Kennedy in the morning of 16/6/1969.
yes
He had to hold it to stop it from flouting off into space
He lifted off from Cape Kennedy that is the state of Florida.

He was not. The first men to go to the moon were Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, and Bill Anders. The three of them flew to the moon on Apollo 8, which lifted off from Kennedy Space Center on December 21, 1968. 8 months later, Neil Armstrong becamethe first man to walk on the moon.
He jumped off the bottom rung of the ladder and landed on both feet.
He wore a heavy 70.3 pound backpack filled with led weights to keep him from flying off the moon
