Nikola Tesla was born on July 10, 1856 in Smiljan, which is part of modern-day Croatia.
Though history books continue to give Guglielmo Marconi credit for the invention of radio, Tesla's lectures on wireless broadcasting precede Marconi's radio patents by some three years. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on the matter in Tesla's favor, and struck down Marconi's patent claim, in 1943.
Nikola Tesla's first research involved developing alternating current (AC) electrical systems, including the invention of the Tesla coil, which laid the foundation for modern electrical power distribution. Tesla also explored wireless communication and transmission, making significant contributions to radio technology.
The problem there was, Marconi filed a patent on the radio using some Tesla's patents. Before he came out with his "invention", Tesla showed the principal for the radio and showed his descriptions in front of students. The patent was removed from Marconi and granted to Nikola Tesla. Anyways, Marconi's radio had a very short range and Tesla's radio had a much longer range.
By 1888 Nikola Tesla built and patented his alternating current motor wich is the one to power homes and builduings today.
On the opening of the telephone exchange in Budapest, in Hungary, 1881, Tesla became the chief electrician to the company. His first invention was the telephone repeater.
Nickola Tesla
Tesla's childhood was about electricity and other scientific stuff.
None, he's dead
During his lifetime, he set the technology of modern radio and electric power. He did invent a few things before he really became an inventor. The Tesla coil should be his second invention.
Nikola had that in his blood. His mother Đuka Mandić Tesla, invented tools. We could say, Tesla inherited the genius mind and the invention mind from his mother.

The Hydroelectric in Niagara Falls by Tesla, was the first of it's kind. Yes he did.
In 1943, at the age of 86, Nikola Tesla died. No body knows the time because his body was discovered dead two days after.
Nikola Tesla's mother was Georgina Tesla, also known as Djuka Mandic. She was a homemaker and inventor, who inspired and supported Nikola throughout his life.
