My light bills in Minneapolis, Minnesota is around $80.00/month in winter (I use gas heating) and $130.00/month in the summer (I must have my AC).
Current:For the 4-watt light, (volts) x (current) = 4.Current = 4/120 = 33 and 1/3 milliamperes.Resistance:Power = E2/R.R = E2/P = (120)2/4 = 3,600 ohms.Energy in 1 month:4 watts = (4 joules/second) x (86,400 seconds / day) x (30 days / month)= (4 x 86,400 x 30) (joule - second - day / second - day - month)= 1,036,800 joules= about 0.3 kWh (rounded)
That's going to depend on the month you pick. Here are all of the possibilities: 28 days . . . . . 450,653,414,400 miles 29 days . . . . . 466,748,179,200 miles 30 days . . . . . 482,842,944,000 miles 31 days . . . . . 498,937,708,800 miles ========================================= Using: Experiment performed in vacuum. 186,282 mi/sec 86,400 sec/da
humans will last about 1 second once the sun rays reaches us from the sun blowing up * * * * * Not true. Our sun will become a red giant when it runs out of hydrogen and starts "burning" helium. When it does its radius will expand to well beyond the earth's orbit. So the earth will be a burnt-out cinder much before the end of sunlight.
