When do kids start using lockers?

At my school, kids have lockers in their classrooms in 4th and 5th Grade, and then in 6th through 8th grade you get lockers in the hallway.

i live in England and we don't have lockers :(

Kids start using lockers typically in middle school, around ages 11-14. However, some elementary schools may introduce lockers earlier to help students practice organization skills. So, there's no one-size-fits-all answer, but generally, you'll see those little rascals wrangling with combination locks and stashing their stuff in lockers once they hit the middle school years.

Elementary doesn’t need Lockers because they stay in the same room basically all day expect when they have itinerant, middle school will need lockers because they would be switching classes through out the day.
