Not all people decorate their houses for Christmas but most people put up lights on their house and some put decorations up in their yard.
They have Christmas trees with things like lights, balls, tinsel and other Christmas decorations. On walls you may have banners, special Christmas decorations, and signs. Cribs are common in most homes and various lights and candles. Christmas-related items such as Santa or reindeer may form part of Christmas decorations too. Holly and ivy are common and other flowers and plants.

Most Turks are Muslim, and do not celebrate Christmas.
Christmas is a religious holiday celebrated by Christians so most Muslims would not celebrate it or decorate their houses for it.
The decorating phase of Christmas can vary in the US from the day of Thanksgiving to the day (or night) before Christmas. In most households, the custom of decoration is a personal matter and usually includes a tree and some stockings as the base of the decoration. In most household, this phase is conducted generally on a weekend and includes saved ornaments for the tree, with some reaching back generations. This custom shows continuity and brings fond memories of the holiday by hanging the ornament on the current tree. The custom of outside lights is different and is a fairly recent event. This activity can start as early as April for involved light shows, with the hanging of the lights starting as early as October.Once again, the custom is personal to families so there is no definitive answer to when the majority of people in the US decorate their homes.
Most families do.
Most people in America usually put up their Christmas decorations just right after Thanksgiving, but others wait a week or two after Christmas. Then there are the stubborn ones that actually wait till Christmas Eve. :)
You don't. Christmas trees have nothing to do with Hanukkah. If you put Hanukkah-style ornaments on a Christmas tree, it will most likely offend the people you are trying to honor (even if they don't tell you that).
