I don't know what's wrong with your installation DVD's. To boot back into Mac OS X, hold the Option (or Alt) key down when booting. When the hard drive icons appear on-screen, hit the one labeled "Mac OS X". Then, in System Preferences, set your boot disk to Mac OS X. Finally, open up Boot Camp Utility, and remove your partition (assuming you want to get rid of your Boot Camp part)
