Spanish people celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December, usually getting 1 or 2 presents. But that's not the end of it: they celebrate it again on January 6th and 7th mostly and 'Santa' or 'St.Nicholas' or 'Father Christmas' is not who gives them presents -- it's the three wise men, which to me makes more sense as the the three wise men or three kings supposedly gave Jesus presents.

Spaniards typically do not present each other with Christmas gifts and Christmas is a holiday where the faithful go to mass. Gifts are given on January 6th, on the Dia de los Reyes Magos or the Day of the Wizard Kings.
