In the three books of The Hunger Games it never exactly say that Peeta and Katnissget married, however In the epilogue at the end of the book of Mockingjay it says that Katniss and Peeta have two children a girl and a boy which I assume means that they got married.

∙ 12y agoThe day he first met her at school. He said she was wearing pigtails in braids and she voilanteered to sing in class and he watched her go home everyday from then on.
Others may argue that it was the day he gave her the bread but it was not.

Peeta has loved Katniss since he was five. Katniss never knew till Peeta's interview with Caeser before the Hunger Games. During the games, Katniss fakes being in love with Peeta to get sponsors. While they are in a cave during the games together, Katniss starts having mixed feelings about Peeta. So, somethings that she does is real, while some is for the audience. At the end of the first book she is unsure about her feelings, but realizes she is dreading the moment when Peeta and her go their separate ways.
Their love does flourish more in the second book, and is tested in the third book.

∙ 11y agoThey kiss for the first time in the cave, Katniss kisses Peeta to get him to stop talking and she also thinks since they're star-crossed lovers that this kiss is over due- by the way that's what happens in the book, but in the film it looks like she's just kissing him because you can't hear what she says in her mind :)
