Many Celebrate the 4th of July, But I see this as disrespectful to ourselves as The United States is the very same country that came and invaded and prevented our independence. Celebrating their independence as a Puerto Rican would be like celebrating the Birthday of someone who took out your mother. Kinda messed up now isn't it?

Puerto Rico change from a Spanish colony to a United States one. It has never gained it's independece.
