if you are talking about the plant... well, they don't go away by themselves and even sometimes persist after you've dumped weed killer on them.
the rash can last from a few days to two and a half weeks, depending on how badly you got it. in my experience, the itch goes away shortly after the blisters start 'weeping' or leaking fluid by themselves. the rash goes away shortly after that. you may have a scar where rash was, but that goes away after a several days as well. if you didn't get it badly enough to get blisters, thank your lucky stars, you'll only have it for four maybe five days.
