It's already on DVD and Blu-ray. All Millennium series books have been made in to movies. However, the only English version available on DVD is "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo". The other two books in the series, "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and the "The Girl That Kicked the Hornets Nest, are available in DVD but they are the Swedish version ( with English subtitles). You can get "instant viewing?" of all three Swedish versions on Netflix. Personally, I think the Swedish movies were all around better.
Update: All 3 Swedish movies are now available on DVD with an English-language soundtrack.
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest is 563 pages long.

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
No, a hornets nest is not worth any money at all. You can decorate the nest and use it as a decoration.
