Fun fact: in the most recent change to the Daylight Saving Time rules in the U.S., the end date was pushed back to the first Sunday of November, specifically to have an extra hour of daylight for trick-or-treating on Halloween.

It depends on what town you live in. Some towns have trick-or-treating on the weekends and some have them on the 30th and 31st. You could go trick-or-treating, however the houses might not have candy to give out. Check with your neighbors to see when they are handing out candy.
