No, the dead body of Jesus was not found, because He resurrected from the dead three days after being crucified. Many persons saw Jesus alive after He was resurrected. He is the only person in history to be resurrected. Some people have been brought back to life, but that is much different from being resurrected. After Jesus was resurrected He had a glorified body, the type of body that other Christians will receive after they have been resurrected. This body will go into heaven and will last an eternity.
No, of course not. If you are referring to a news report of a grave of a 'Jesus' that was discovered (with all the lucrative 'being-able-to-sell-a-crank-book' afterwards) then you have to realise that the name 'Jesus' was extremely common in those days (as it still is in parts of the world today) - as common as John or Tom today. The likelihood that the tomb is that of THE Jesus is absolutely non-existent. The tomb dated from a different time from Christ, in a different place, and in a different style of burial. It would be like a grave marked Arthur, dating from the 1960s, found in Antarctica being attributed to King Arthur even though he lived over 1000 years ago in England, and, if he followed Viking practice might well have been cremated too. The Bible accounts make it perfectly clear that Jesus was resurrected from the dead in a bodily resurrection although the nature of his resurrection body is still misunderstood. We know it was physical (he could be touched, and he ate) yet he could pass through matter (he appeared in a locked room among his disciples, and disappeared at will), and it was glorious so that everyone who saw him afterwards knew that it was not just a resuscitated corpse, but a new state of being. The resurrectiion of Jesus is not just a matter of faith. Sceptics have always scoffed at the resurrection of Jesus, but the hardevidence for the greatest miracle of Christ is overwhelming. And thus its significance is not just important but it confirms its position as the most important event in history and the turning point of humanity. It was prophesised hundreds of years before and Jesus knew exactly what was to happen to him - he would suffer, die and rise again. There is not really enough space here to go into the evidence of the resurrection, but if you drop me line (JohnWelsh) on my message board I will describe some of the evidence. For an in-depth analysis of the resurrection a good read is Frank Morrison's 'Who moved the Stone' available from Amazon, where, as an atheist, he began to write the book to disprove the resurrection, changing his belief whilst writing it because of the ovwrwhelming evidence for the resurrection and becoming a committed Christian as a result.

No. The author of Luke and Acts says that Jesus ascended bodily into heaven - the earlier account saying that this happened on the evening of his resurrection, while the later book says that it happened after a period of forty days. All the gospels say that Jesus rose from the dead, but only the author of Luke/Acts attempts to explain his ultimate fate.
No the people did not. He resurrected. He rose from the dead.
