is it running out of fuel?
On the left side of the console is a button labeled power. When this button is pushed a power light comes on in dash. This button is used when you need more power such as climbing a steep grade.
Transmission oil temperatureIllumination of this warning light indicates that the gearbox oil temperature is high(this is most likely to occur in very hot weather during continuous high speed driving, or while towing heavy loads on steep inclines, or if the parking brake has been accidentally left applied while driving). If the light illuminates, reduce speed. If the light remains on, stop the vehicle and do not drive again until it turns off.
The OD light on dash stands for Overdrive. There is a button (usually) on the end of the turn signal lever. Some cars the button or switch is on the dash. If you push the button/switch the light will change to OD or OD on (may even go out) then you will be in overdrive. Being in overdrive is good except for steep hills or pulling a heavy load.
Typically this means the oil level is low. Often can come on on steep inclines as the oil runs away from the sensor.

Steep is not a verb, it's an adjective. Steep (as an adj.) means deep. Steep can be used as a verb. It means to saturate or drench in something.
When you push the button it turns od off. There should be a little light that comes on that says "o/d off". The only times you don't want to use it are when pulling trailers or towing, up steep hills, anything that makes your vehicle work harder than normal.
Steeped is the past participle of steep.
Frederick Steep was born in 1874.
