The cabin air filter is behind the glove box. Remove the glove box by opening it & pushing on both side walls - that should drop it down. Then the bottom hingle can be pulled/snapped out. The cabin air filter is then visible & can be removed by pushing inward on the two releases. Remove the old filter from the frame & push in the new one. Then replace. Good luck.
