Mono is easily passed from one person to another. If you have symptoms, it's probably safer for you to stay at a safe distance from others until it is gone. Sharing food/drink (I caught Mono by taking a sip of my friend's drink using her straw and she said she was over it...guess not), kissing, etc. will spread it like wildfire. They say, that Mono never truly leaves your system, which is why you can't "catch it" twice. So a relapse wouldn't really be possible. Mono is a miserable and long ordeal. I was 13 and had to spend a hospital stay packed in ice to bring down my fever (it was so high I was seeing things and barely conscious) and spent my entire summer in my room by myself. Your throat feels like it's on fire and you can't really eat much...ice cream was great tho! Bottom line, take care of yourself the best you can so you can get better and be around your friends soon! ;)

It is not certain that if you touch someone with leprosy you will even get it. Though the chances are extremely high, you might not even get it. If you do end up getting it, though, it will take time for the leprosy to start showing its symptoms. You do not get leprosy immediately.
