More information is needed. Based on what is here, I see 2 immediate possibilities.
1. TCC Solenoid failed (common, cheap part, medium difficulty level to replace due to location) This will be evident as the car will "jerk" at the stall. Similar to stopping at a stop light without depressing the clutch on a manual transmission.
2. Defective ECM (my problem currently. Not passing reference voltage to Temp Sensor on circuit 410, code 14 showing, all other sensors, items new or functional. Confirmed through GM Shop Manual troubleshooting flow chart.) I got a new ECM from Autozone for 69.95 + 75.00 Core charge (?!).
There may be other reasons, depending on when, how, and nature of stall (fuel, power, etc).
The issue may be with the fuel pump. There may also be a problem with the oxygen censor not allowing enough air flow.
torque converter
check your rotor & pickup coil
I'm not sure if you're describing that the transmission won't move the car past 10, or if the engine quits before you even reach 10. If it's the latter, try changing the fuel pump. Especially if you have never changed it. If it's the former, then it sounds like transmission. (I can't help you there)
no
When it go's out and the engine quits are when you can no longer set the timing with an engine scanner.
You know your car has blown a fuse if whatever the fuse is for suddenly quits working. For example if your radio is playing and for no reason quits it may be a fuse has blown.
the bulb is burnt out or the circut board is faulty. The circut board is a common failure in the older versions and was a safety warrant recall.
bad gas filter block or low fuel pressure
Sounds like the speed sensor is bad.
Till it quits going!!
Worn right front wheel bearing.
