They probably are car sick. But, I am not a doctor I am just a 10 year old fourth grader with an IQ of 147... SO, car sickness, about to throw up from air pressure or speed, or just lack of air.
The headache and confusion sound more like carbon monoxide poisoning. Keep that rear window CLOSED! Car sickness usually causes vomiting and sometimes headache.
