Hamlet tells him to send his messengers to see if Polonius is in Heaven, and if he is not there, then he tells him to go see if he's in Hell in person.
He then tells him that Polonius is under the stairwell.
a) at supper, not where he eats, but where he is eaten.
b) within smelling distance of the stairs to the lobby. "But if indeed you find him not within this month you shall nose him as you go up the stairs into the lobby."
He says he is in heaven. Or, Hamlet continues, Claudius can look for him in the other place himself. Which is of course a fancy way of telling Claudius to go to Hell.
He said, "At supper. Not where he eats but where he is eaten. A certain convocation of politic worms is e'en at him."
He says dont judge me if i like her i do

King hamlet, hamlets real father is already dead, poisened by claudious before the play begins, he is the ghost. then hamlet accidentally kills polonious.
Polonius plans to tell Claudius. Polonius believes that it is love that is driving Hamlet insane.
Polonius is the chief counselor to the king, and also the father of Ophelia and Laertes.
Before Hamlet enters his mother's chamber, Polonius is having a discussion with Hamlet's mother Gertrude. As Hamlet enters the room, Polonius conceals himself behind a tapestry hanging from the wall. When he hears Gertrude begin to feel threatened by Hamlet, he cries out for help, thinking that he would kill them both. Hamlet hears Polonius, and believes him to be a rat/spy (possibly even King Claudius, but it is unclear if he truly believes this). Hamlet stabs through the tapestry killing Polonius, who remarks "O, I am slain".
Polonius is sure that Hamlet has gone mad with love for Ophelia. See these lines by Polonius in Act 2 scene 1: ~Polonius: Come, go with me! I will go seek the King; This is the very ecstasy of love,...Ophelia: ... I did repel his letters, and denied His access to me.Polonius: That hath made him mad;~ So Polonius thinks Hamlet is suffering from the "ecstasy of love" for Ophelia, which has driven him mad.

Hamlet mistakenly believes that it is Claudius who is hiding behind the arras instead of Polonius.

Hamlet's uncle Claudius.
Hamlet's father was also named Hamlet. Throughout the play they may refer to them as "Old Hamlet" and "Young Hamlet," or, in the father's case "Denmark" as a reference to his royalty and the country he ruled.
when hamlet saw his father's ghost, the ghost said that hamlet's uncle (which he was king during that time) put poison in hamlet's father's ear while he was sleeping so he could become king. so it was hamlet's uncle
Hamlet was the main character; he was the son of Gertrude(the queen) and she married Claudius(the king) who killed Hamlets father so he could take the throne instead of Hamlet.Ophelia is Polonius's daughter; Polonius is Claudius's best friend and Hamlet and Ophelia are engaged. Polonius has a son named Laertes who was Hamlet's nemesis.
