You should go with the number from the door, it is what the vehicles braking and crash safety is based on, the number on the tire is the Maximum inflation pressure, you should never exceed it.
The only exception is if the brand, size, or style of tire has been changed, then it is up to you.
tire pressure differs depending on tire manufacturer and tire make/model. pressure can be found in small print close to the tire rim on the tire sidewall.
There might be 2 messages on this tire pressure: one is on the tire itself. The other is on the door threshhold. My car tire reads 35 psi. but the door plate reads 30. The remote tire pressure warning operates when the tire pressure is more than 30. So, my suggestion? Use the tire pressure on the threshhold. If none is available. use the tire pressure on the tire. It's usually 35 psi but check to make sure.
The tire pressure is located on a sticker on your door jamb.
There is a sticker on the door that should tell you the recommended tire pressure. Look on the drivers side rear door and follow the information listed when adjusting tire pressure.
Tire pressure is posted on the door jamb (driver door). Mine says 32psi.
tire pressure? tire pressure is noted on the side of the tire.
The psi amount will be listed on the inside of your car door. You do not want to put more air into your tire than what is listed.
Open your drivers door , there should be a sticker on the end of the door that shows the tire size and recommended tire inflation pressure
The correct tire pressure is listed on you driver's door post and in your owner's manual. The maximum you should put in your tires is 35psi cold.Note: The correct pressure for the vehicle is NOT listed on the side of the tire. The pressure listed on the tire is the maximum pressure the tire can handle. The same tire is installed on many different cars and the correct pressure may be different on each vehicle.
The tire will have a recommended psi printed on the tire, it is best to follow this recommendation. Check inside driver door for tire pressure information. Tire lists max pressure at max load. Mfg will set tire presure on sticker inside driver door.
The tire marking tells you how much pressure the tire can safely take, and the info on the jamb tell you what the the vehicle should need. The jamb value should be lower than the max on the tire, use that.
36 PSI is the tire pressure indicated for my 850 both front and rear. Rather than list the correct pressure inside the driver's door like most cars, the correct pressure is listed inside the fuel door.
