If you are really paranoid you could wipe out the entire drive. That will erase your history and cache and EVERYTHING ELSE. You would then have to reinstall your operating system and applications. If your data was not backed up, it will be gone forever. If you are just trying to free up some space, do not use a wipe program. All the browsers I am familiar with have settings to clear out history and cache.
